Awana

Fun – and lots of it!
Awana is fun with a purpose – to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ.
Club meetings combine learning with fun to create an atmosphere of irresistible excitement for all children. Club meetings are divided into three segments:
- Age-appropriate games
- Small group interaction and completion of Bible-based lessons
- Bible teaching, singing and award presentations
Clubs for all ages:
| Cubbies (Ages 3 - 4) | |
| Sparks (Grades K - 3) | |
| Truth and Training / T&T (Grades 3 - 6) | |
| Central (Grades 7 - 12) |
We hold several special events each year including a Grand Prix (make and race wooden cars down a long track), dress-up nights and our annual Awana Camp.
Awana began in Australia in 1972. There are over 40 Awana Clubs in Australia, including several in the greater Sydney region. We meet together with these other clubs for several events throughout the year including the Awana Games, Super Saturday and the National Grand Prix.
The main Awana website has a wealth of information about the various programs as well as a parents page with lots of great tips.
