- The Evans family are independent Baptist missionaries to Japan.
- They are based in the town of Kita Hiroshima, on the northern island of Hokkaido.
- In the early 90’s, they established a testimony for the Lord, initially through English-teaching classes and personal witnessing.
- The Suzuran Church is now well-established, with regular services in their own premises, Bible studies, camp and summer programmes and other outreaches.
- Japan is a hard mission field and costs of living are high.
